Camping

Jaime and I are planning on camping at Abiquiu lake. I'm not sure what days yet but i'll post here as soon as we decide. I just checked and campfires are permitted in the firerings at the campsites.

Please let me know if you are interested in camping with us and I will reserve the campsites.

Also, I wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were on moving the Saturday family picnic from the El Rito College to the Abiquiu campgrounds? I also need to know who is coming to the picnic so we can get enough food.

Thanks, -Dave-

DAMN IT DAVE, DON'T YOU LISTEN, NOT EVERY ONE LIKES CAMPING, STOP TRYING TO FORCE THEM TO GO,....JUST KIDDING, FOR THOSE STILL THINKING ABOUT IT, ABIQUE IS PROBABLY THE FULLEST LAKE AROUND, PLANS ARE TO KEEP IT AT LEAST 85%OF CAPACITY FOR THE SUMMER, CURRENTY IT IS THE HIGHEST I'VE EVER SEEN IT, YOU CAN RESERVE A SPOT PRIMITIVE CAMPING, (TENT ONLY), REGULAR (CAMPER OR TENT) AND ELECTRIC (ELECTRICITY AND WATER HOOK-UPS). IF SO, THE SITE IS http://www.reserveusa.com/jsp/commonpage.jsp?goto=/nrrs/nm/rian/newindex.html

ALSO, AS FOR THE BBQ, THERE ARE GROUP SHELTERS ONE AT THE CAMPGROUNDS AND ONE AT THE BOAT RAMP OVERLOOKING THE LAKE WHICH CAN BE RENTED OUT FOR THE DAY, WHICH I HAD PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED, BUT NO ONE WAS INTERESTED, DAVE, BUT GO AHEAD SEE IF YOU AND YOUR SUPER POWERS CAN CONVINCE THEM TO CHANGE NOW, SINCE IT'S ONLY 2 WEEKS AWAY,.....OH, YEAH, YOU CAN ALSO JUST GO UP TO ABIQUE AND TALK TO THE PEOPLE THERE TO RESERVE ONE, I SUGGEST GOING UP THERE AND LOOKING AT THE SPOTS BEFORE RESERVING THEM, CUZ SOME OF THE KINDA SUCK, AND OTHERS ALL PRETTY NICE....AS FAR AS ABIQUE GOES ANYWAY.....

I agree with spidy, not good idea to change at last minute, anyway, if anyone wants to go visit the lake, we'll be there all weekend, we can talk more on sat morn at the bbq.
